Rick Santorum rose to national prominence at age 32 after a major congressional upset victory. He later became the youngest U.S. senator ever elected from Pennsylvania, building a strong legislative record that included the Welfare Reform Act, the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, and the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act.

Re-elected in 2000, he was the only conservative to win a Senate seat in a state carried by the opposing presidential candidate, George W. Bush. After leaving the Senate, Santorum launched an underdog bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, winning the Iowa caucuses and 10 primaries and caucuses nationwide.

His message championing American manufacturing, energy independence, strong families, and opportunities for working Americans has resonated across the country. In 2014, he authored Blue Collar Conservative, which drew the attention of Donald Trump and helped shape the policy framework later associated with the MAGA movement.

Santorum continues to influence public policy through media commentary, his work with the Convention of States, and as chairman of Patriot Voices. He is also active in the private sector as an investor and advisor.

Rick and his wife, Karen, have been married for over 35 years and are blessed with eight children and a growing number of grandchildren.
