DALLAS, TX: On the drizzly and chilly evening of April 15, 2021, Council for Life hosted the Run for Life 5K Kickoff Party at Saint Rocco’s in Trinity Groves. This invitation only event featured a cocktail reception and program highlighting CFL’s four 2021 Run for Life Beneficiaries doing tremendous work for adoption and foster care in DFW: Christian Homes & Family ServicesChristian Works for Children / AdoptionWorksEmbrace Waiting Children and Lifeline Children’s Services. As part of the festivities, CFL honored all Run for Life Sponsors and Honorary Chairs, The Cathy and Tony Sisk Family, while 150 attendees danced to live music from the MalFUNKtions overlooking breathtaking views of the Dallas skyline and Run racecourse.

Longtime Council for Life supporters and 2021 Run for Life Kickoff Party Co-Chairs, Rosalyn Brown and Mary Grace Cardenas, planned and executed the fun-filled evening with excellence. “We are so happy to be together with our Council for Life family once again and celebrate everyone who makes our Run possible,” said Brown. “The weather did not diminish the energy and excitement during the party,” added Cardenas. “Now, we are ready to Run for Life!”
