Council for Life was overjoyed to see 400+ children and families spending time together, playing games and supporting our second annual Family Fun for Life on May 5!
The SMU Armstrong Fieldhouse was filled with laughter in the spirit of fun, love and compassion to celebrate Life!

Children of all ages enjoyed the gigantic obstacle courses, face painting, bounce houses, football target games, putt-putt, a 360 photo booth experience and an energetic performance by The Dad Band. Families spread picnic blankets and enjoyed delicious tacos and quesadillas from Mi Cocina and Freakin’ Awesome Mix generously donated by Festive Kitchen.
We are grateful to our Honorary Chair and SMU Head Football Coach Rhett Lashlee for his bold words about the worth and dignity of preborn babies. Coach Lashlee led a beautiful prayer praising God as the Author and Creator of Life.
Coach Lashlee’s wife Lauren and their four children also joined in the fun.
Park Cities Family Natalie and Klint Guerry shared the touching story of the adoption of their precious son.
Council for Life is grateful for the many volunteers who helped with the event, including Highland Park Varsity Football Players, SMU Law Students, many CFL Young Leaders for Life, CFL Friends and CFL Board Members.
