Blessings International is dedicated to one of the most vulnerable moments in a woman’s life: pregnancy. For years, Blessings International has been a trusted provider of prenatal vitamins, medicines and medical supplies to pregnancy resource centers and maternal health organizations. They offer hope and support to women navigating the uncertainties of pregnancy, particularly those with limited resources.
Blessings International offers these lifesaving prenatal supplies at low or subsidized costs, removing financial barriers for women who are often overwhelmed with the costs of pregnancy and health risks they may face. The vitamins are a lifeline for a healthy pregnancy and a reminder to these women that they are not alone.
Blessings International started its mission in 1981 and has grown to become an FDA-approved pharmaceutical distributor, operating in 45 states and over 150 nations. While its international work continues, Blessings International remains deeply committed to the United States, focusing on maternal health, charitable clinics and safety-net providers.
Council for Life is proud and honored to award Blessings International a 2024 grant to provide prenatal medicines and supplies to 36 DFW Pregnancy Resource Centers and four Maternal Health Organizations.
One of the greatest challenges facing the women Blessings International serves is the rising rate of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), particularly syphilis, which can be deadly for babies if untreated. In response to these urgent needs, Blessings International is not only focused on supporting healthy pregnancies but also actively working to prevent infant mortality by providing STI treatments for expectant mothers.
